THERAPEUTIC WORKSHOPS

Our therapeutic workshops provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive space where individuals affected by road trauma can take time for themselves, connect with others, and focus on their wellbeing. We offer a diverse programme of small group workshops throughout the year, including mindfulness, creative writing, art therapy, seasonal wreath making, wellbeing retreats, relaxation sessions, and other therapeutic activities designed to nurture emotional healing and personal growth.

We understand that the impact of road trauma can be overwhelming and that many people spend much of their time trying to cope, support others, or simply get through each day. Our workshops offer an opportunity to step away from these pressures and enter an environment where there is no judgement, no expectations, and no need to pretend that everything is okay.

One of the most valuable aspects of these workshops is the opportunity to be alongside others who have experienced similar challenges. Participants often find comfort in being part of a group where people understand the realities of grief, trauma, injury, and loss without the need for lengthy explanations. The shared experience creates a sense of connection, belonging, and mutual understanding that can be difficult to find elsewhere.

Many of our workshops incorporate creative or mindful activities, providing a gentle focus that allows people to engage at their own pace. There is never any pressure to talk or share personal experiences. Some participants choose to chat and connect with others, while some simply enjoy the activity, the peaceful atmosphere, and the opportunity to spend time with people who understand. Often, it is these informal moments of connection that can be the most healing.

Through creativity, reflection, relaxation, and peer connection, our therapeutic workshops help individuals reduce stress, build confidence, improve emotional wellbeing, develop resilience, and rediscover moments of joy and hope. They provide a space where people can simply be themselves, feel supported, and take positive steps forward on their journey towards healing and recovery.
